Sewer & stormwater
A residential build on a steep section with views across the estuary, where the drainage had to be planned around the slope before the house could go up.
Hillside sites come with their own challenges. Access is tight, the ground can move, and water has to end up somewhere that works for the new house and for everything downhill of it. The foundations were already underway when we came in, so the drainage had to fit around the formwork and the steel.
We planned the stormwater and sewer runs around the slope and the foundation layout, then installed them while the build kept moving. We work on both residential and commercial projects, so we’re comfortable on sites with other trades working right alongside us.
The drainage was in and ready before the house was built over the top of it, and the owners now have a home that handles the hill the way it should.
