Multiple service lines, precise fittings and connections that all needed to be right the first time, laid out and installed before the site was ready to build on.
Commercial sites don’t leave much room for rework. Once the ground is backfilled and the slab goes down, a mistake underneath turns into a very expensive conversation. This project had several lines running through the same ground, each with its own fittings and connections.
We laid out and installed each line in the trench, then checked every fitting and connection before anything was covered. We also kept in close contact with the other trades on site so everyone knew exactly where everything was going. Our team handles commercial drainage and civil work across Canterbury, and this job ran from the first trench through to the final connection.
The site was handed over ready to build on, with nothing left to chase later.
